Yukari Nakano in October 2007

Yukari Nakano won a local competition which took place from October 6 to 8 in Tokyo. Many people crowded there because Yukari, Yukina Ota and Nana Takeda participated in it.

Yukari Nakano in July 2007

Yukari Nakano presented her new exhibition program, Aria, which was choreographed by Kumiko Sato, at the gala, "Dreams on Ice" in Yokohama from July 14 to 16. It's a vocalized version of Saint-Saëns' "Le Cygne" (Swan) sung by Giorgia Fumanti. The new white costume is made by her mother.

On July 17 Yukari had a measurement of physical fitness of the Japan Skating Federation.

From July 19 Team Japan including Daisuke Takahashi and Mao Asada scheduled a residential training and a gala, "Japan on Ice" in Courmayeur, Italy. However, Yukari regrettably decided not to participate in it because of her study. She is a senior student of Waseda University and preparing a graduation thesis as well.

Yukari Nakano in November, 2006

Yukari Nakano competed in Cup of China which took place in Nanjing, China. She finished the second. Her new exhibition program, Maksim's Claudine was introduced at the gala.

Yukari will skate in China again as Japan Skating Federation assigned her to Asian Winter Games in Changchun, along with Fumie Suguri and Aki Sawada.

Late November she came in Nagano and got prepared for NHK Trophy.

From October 8 to 9, Yukari Nakano took part in Tokyo Figure Skating Competition. She showed her new programs for the first time in Japan and won the first place.

Yukari Nakano in September, 2006

On September 15 and 16, Yukari Nakano performed as a guest skater of Champions on Ice Japan Tour in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture. She skated to Memoirs of a Geisha and took part in opening and closing of the show.
